My Cat Loves This Food

I got my cat as a kitten about four years ago. She was lively and healthy, but ended up getting a urinary tract infection. I had been feeding her another kind of cat food, but after she became sick I wanted to find a cat food that would help improve her urinary system. I found it in the 9 Lives Plus Care Grilled Tuna Egg Flavor Dry Cat Food. She really likes the taste of the food and eats it well. She becomes excited when she sees the bag, meowing and rubbing against my leg. I like that the cat food is dry and easy to use. The bag opens easily and pours out well. I also like that it comes in multiple sizes, from a small box to a very large bag. I use the 3.5 pound bag and this lasts my cat about a month. The best part about 9 Lives Plus Care Grilled Tuna Egg Flavor Dry Cat Food, is that since she’s been eating it, she has had no more urinary tract infections. This has been three years now and that is the only change that I have made.

EnzosMom said: I have a 16 year old tabby named Enzo who has been on Friskies Special Diet for 14 years after being diagnosed with UTI’s. When I suddenly couldn’t find any in multiple stores, I emailed Purina who has now discontinued this product line. I am on an EXTREMELY tight budget, , and can’t afford the Purina recommended alternative of Purina One Pro or whatever it is called. It costs more, and comes in a smaller can which would lead to my spending 3 times as much money daily on his food. I can’t seem to figure out what to do. Anyone have any suggestions. I love my cat, but I just don’t have the money for more expensive foods when I can’t pay for my own meds and rent. HELP!!!!!

EnzosMom said: As I understand it, I’m supposed to avoid either magnesium or ash to avoid a repeat of the urinary tract infections he had when he was 2 years old. He had 2 UTIs back to back and the vet bill was over $1500 then. I’m afraid that a UTI at this point would be deadly for him, since he’s 16 and I can’t afford the vet at all right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Effectively Maintains Urinary Tract Issues

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) | Urinary Tract Infection Treatment | Bladder Infection | UTI Cure

I have a male cat who started having urinary issues about 5 years ago. He kept getting urinary blockages causing him to not be able to urinate. After trying quite a few different types of specialty food and wasting a lot of it because he didn”t even like them, I found the 9 Lives Plus Care tuna and egg for urinary tract health. I was skeptical at first, but not only does he love it, but he hasn’t had a urinary problem since! He’s been happy and healthy, soft coat, and my other cat also eats it and she has even dropped a little weight, as this formula is also relativly low fat. I’m very happy with this food!!
