Tanya Roberts Died Due To A Severe Urinary Tract Infection

Actor Tanya Roberts has died at the age of 65 following a severe urinary tract infection that spread to other organs in her body. Roberts starred in the James Bond film A View to a Kill and the TV shows That 70s Show and Charlie’s Angels.

There was some initial confusion after her death when several outlets reported Roberts’s death prematurely, according to the New York Times. But Roberts’s publicist, Mike Pingel, confirmed her passing in a press statement posted to the actor’s official website on January 5.

With a heavy heart I can confirm the death of Tanya Roberts last night on January 4, 2021, around 9:30pm P.T. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles CA,” the statement reads. “Her 18-year domestic partner, Lance OBrien, received the phone call from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last night at their home confirming her passing.” Roberts’s cause of death was a UTI that spread to her kidney, gallbladder, liver, and ultimately, her blood stream, according to the statement.
